Yes. Adults are welcome to wear costumes at Oogie Boogie Bash, and it's genuinely one of the highlights of the night. It's a rare exception to Disneyland Resort's everyday no-adult-costume rule. What Are the Rules for Guests 14 and Older?
The same careful planning applies here as at Magic Kingdom's version, especially for families coordinating a matching look:
- No masks. Guests 14 and older cannot wear a costume mask that covers the entire face.
- No dragging the ground. Costumes, including long princess dresses, cannot reach or drag on the floor.
- Capes must stay above the waist.
- No full-body or heavily layered costumes. They're discouraged and may trigger extra security screening.
- No weapon-like props or sharp objects.
- No impersonating characters for photos. You can dress as your favorite character, but can't pose for pictures or sign autographs for other guests while in costume.
What About Kids Under 14?
There's more flexibility here. Costumes and most masks are allowed, as long as the mask doesn't cover the entire face and eyes remain visible. The same family-friendly, no-weapons rules still apply, but there's no floor-length or cape restriction for this age group.
