Disneyland Abu Dhabi: What We Know
Disney announced Disneyland Abu Dhabi on May 7, 2025. It will be built on Yas Island, owned and run by Miral under a license from Disney, with Walt Disney Imagineering designing the park. No opening date has been announced yet.
Until it opens, Gulf families still travel to Disneyland Paris, Walt Disney World in Orlando, Disneyland in California and the Disney cruise ships. Here is what children can wear at each, and how to have her gown made to arrive before you fly.

What to Wear to Disneyland Paris
Children under 12 may wear princess dresses and costumes at Disneyland Paris. Guests 12 and older may not, except on special event nights. Gowns must not drag on the ground, and masks are not allowed for guests 12 and over.
Paris weather: summer and Eid-holiday trips are warm, but winter is cold and wet. We line every gown in our no-itch silk-touch fabric and can add a matching cape for cooler days.

What to Wear to Disney World & Disneyland
At Walt Disney World in Orlando and Disneyland in California, children under 14 may wear princess dresses and costumes every day. Gowns must not drag on the ground. Princess gowns are made for character breakfasts like Akershus and Cinderella's Royal Table, and for Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique.
First trip with a baby? Our baby princess gowns are soft, light and made for photos with the characters.

What to Wear on a Disney Cruise
Disney cruises hold a formal night and a pirate night, and children may wear princess gowns at any time on board. Our feather gowns are the most photographed dresses on formal night, and they double as wedding and Eid dresses at home.

Can kids wear costumes to Disneyland?
Yes. At Disneyland and Walt Disney World, children under 14 may wear costumes and princess dresses every day. At Disneyland Paris, children under 12 may. Gowns must not drag on the ground.
Can kids wear princess dresses to Disney?
Yes, and character breakfasts are where they shine. Choose a gown she can sit, walk and dance in all day. Ours have no hoops or wires and a no-itch silk-touch lining.
Can adults wear costumes to Disneyland?
Not on regular days. Guests 14 and older may not wear costumes at the US parks, and guests 12 and older may not at Disneyland Paris, except at special events. Matching Mommy & Me looks in everyday colors are a beautiful alternative.
What to wear to Disney World?
Light, breathable layers for Florida heat, comfortable shoes, and one special gown for photos and a character meal. Order early so it arrives before your flight.
What to wear on a Disney cruise?
Pack daytime outfits for the decks, a pirate look, and one formal gown for formal night. A princess dress works for both formal night and meeting the princesses on board.
