At Calgary and Ballerini, your child's cruise wardrobe is commissioned. It is designed with you, cut from their own measurements in our Miami atelier and timed to arrive before you sail.

Planned Around Your Sailing Date

Send us your departure date and how many formal evenings are on your itinerary. Our design team plans the commission backwards from that date, so the gown or suit is finished, approved and delivered to your home with time to spare. Commissions take 4 to 6 weeks, and rush service is available for sailings that are closer.

Designed for Evenings at Sea

For her: a floor-length ball gown for the Captain's Dinner, a high-low gown that clears the stairs between decks, or a knee-length twirl dress for the dance floor.
For him: a tailored heritage-style suit or formal outfit in the colors of the evening.
The fabric: satin and lace for the dining room, or lighter tulle and organza for warm tropical nights and the breeze on deck.
The color: classic white and gold for gala night, deep jewel tones, or a palette that matches the whole family for the formal portrait.
The details: a matching cape, $399, for cool evenings at sea, and custom monogramming of their name, upon request.

Sketches, Measurements, Approvals

Within one week of receiving their measurements, our design team sends original sketches, and you can change anything until it is exactly right. You approve the fabrics before anything is cut, follow the making through photographs and give your final approval before it ships.

Comfortable From Dinner to Midnight

Every piece is lined with our No-Itch Silk-Touch lining and finished with no exposed seams, wires, hoops or glue, so your child stays comfortable through a long dinner in a warm climate. An adjustable lace-up back lets each gown be worn again long after the trip.
