Piglet Costume for Kids: A Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party Favorite

At Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, Piglet trades his usual look for an adorable butterfly costume — a seasonal variation only seen at the party, alongside Pooh (dressed as a bumblebee), Tigger (a pirate), and Eeyore (a clown) at Pooh's Thotful Spot near the Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh ride. Lines typically run 45–60 minutes, so families often line up around 6:30 PM before the party officially starts. If your child is dressing as Piglet this year, there's a real chance they'll get to meet him in costume the same night.

Why Piglet Works So Well for This Party

Piglet's soft pink is instantly recognizable and easy to spot in every photo, without needing an elaborate mask or headpiece — a real advantage during a long Florida evening of trick-or-treating and parades. It's also one of the more overlooked Hundred Acre Wood characters, next to Pooh himself, making it an easy way for your child's costume to stand out.

The Dress: Piglet Costume, Winnie the Pooh Birthday Dress

Our Piglet Costume brings the character to life in a handmade, heirloom-quality piece for ages 1–4 years — lightweight and breathable, built for hours of movement rather than stiff costume-shop material that has kids overheating by 9 PM. Like all of our storybook pieces, it's finished with our signature no-itch silk lining.

Make It a Family Look

Coordinate the full Hundred Acre Wood with a sibling as Pooh, Tigger, or Eeyore, or let mom join in with our Winnie the Pooh Mommy and Me Corset for a full family moment. See the complete Winnie the Pooh collection to build out everyone's look in one place.

Also Heading to Oogie Boogie Bash?

If you're on the West Coast, Disney California Adventure's Oogie Boogie Bash is the sister event to Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party — running 33 nights from August 18 through October 31, 2026. It's one of the few nights all year Disneyland Resort lets adults dress up alongside their kids, so a Piglet costume works just as well for a family look there too.

A Few Quick Rules to Keep in Mind

  • Costumes can't drag the ground
  • Masks are only allowed for guests 13 and under, and eye holes must stay open
  • No props resembling real weapons — soft or toy accessories only
  • Comfort matters as much as looks, especially for the little ones on their feet for hours

More Than One Night

Because this costume is heirloom quality rather than disposable, it's built to be worn again — for portraits, dress-up, or handed down to a younger sibling once Halloween is over.
