When Are the 2026 Very Merrytime Cruises?
Very Merrytime sailings run from about November 9 through December 29, 2026, on seven ships:
- Disney Wish, Disney Fantasy and Disney Treasure from Port Canaveral, Florida
- Disney Dream and Disney Destiny from Fort Lauderdale, Florida
- Disney Magic from Galveston, Texas
- Disney Wonder from San Diego, California
Only certain sailings in that window are holiday cruises. When you book, look for the Very Merrytime label.
What Happens on a Very Merrytime Cruise?
- A tree lighting with Mickey and Minnie, usually on the first night.
- A holiday celebration day with characters in their Christmas outfits.
- Santa Claus meet-and-greets, and storytime with Mrs. Claus on many sailings.
- A gingerbread house showpiece on each ship.
- Decorated private islands on many itineraries, and holiday treats and drinks on board.
- Pirate Night still happens on Bahamas and Caribbean sailings.

Disney Cruise Dress Code on a Very Merrytime Sailing
Most evenings on a Disney cruise are cruise casual, and the holiday sailings follow the same dress code. Longer sailings add a dress-up night, and Bahamas and Caribbean itineraries keep Pirate Night. Kids are welcome to wear holiday dresses and princess gowns all week, so most families pack something special for the tree lighting, the dress-up night and the Santa photos. Adults dress up too: dress-up night is when moms wear their gowns.
