Her Exact Measurements

What size party dress does my daughter need? Choose the size closest to her age from the chart below, then send her own measurements. We cut the pattern from her body, so a tall and a petite girl of the same age each get a dress that fits exactly.

From our own size chart. For a knee-length party dress, waist to knee is about 15.5 in / 39 cm at size 5, 16 in / 41 cm at size 6 and 18.5 in / 47 cm at size 7.

How to measure her, in 9 steps

Measure over light, fitted clothing, with her standing straight and relaxed, no shoes. Keep the tape snug but not tight. Inches or centimeters are both fine.

1. Shoulder to floor: from the top of the shoulder straight down to the floor.
2. Chest: around the fullest part of the chest, under the arms.
3. Waist: around her natural waist, at the belly button.
4. Shoulder to waist: from the top of the shoulder to her natural waist.
5. Waist to floor: from her natural waist to the floor.
6. Shoulder to shoulder: across the back, bone to bone.
7. Arm: around the widest part of the upper arm.
8. Shoulder to wrist: down the relaxed arm to the wrist bone.
9. Shoulder to fingertip: down the relaxed arm to the tip of the middle finger.

Knee length or floor length?

Floor length for weddings, galas and evening parties; knee or tea length for birthdays, daytime parties and girls under 3.

A floor-length gown is cut to her exact waist-to-floor measurement, so the hem just kisses the floor and never trips her. For an outdoor party or a terrace in the warm months, choose a lighter tulle skirt, short sleeves or a removable cape.

Can I order a custom made party dress from Dubai? Yes. Custom orders start at $899 (about AED 3,300). Send us a photo, her favorite color or her own drawing, and our designer sends original sketches within one week.

1. Message us on WhatsApp with the date, the event, her age, your city and any inspiration photos.
2. Receive her sketch within one week, and change anything until it's exactly right.
3. Approve the fabrics and colors: tulle, feathers, satin, organza or lace, before anything is cut.
4. Send her 9 measurements. Her pattern is drafted from them.
5. Follow the making through photos, approving the bodice, skirt and finishing.
6. Delivered to Dubai or Abu Dhabi by DHL Express, duties paid.

Add a cape, a train, crystals, hand-applied flowers or her name embroidered inside. Every gown is fully finished inside, with no wires, hoops, shedding glitter or glue.
